How to download the SSC CHSL Mains Answer Key 2026?

To successfully download your official Tier 2 answer key, please follow the instructions provided on the official SSC dashboard.

  1. Go to the SSC website at www.ssc.gov.in.
  2. Now, go to the Candidate’s dashboard by logging into the portal. For that, click on the “Login/Register” button at the top right corner of the homepage.
  3. Once you have logged in successfully, click on SSC CHSL 2026.
  4. Now, click on “Uploading of Tentative Answer Key(s) along with Candidates’ Response Sheet(s) of Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination, 2025 (Tier-II)”.
  5. Log in again with Registration Number and Password.
  6. View your response sheet and answer key.
  7. Click on the download button to save the answer key for future use.

SSC CHSL Answer Key Objection Link 2026

The objection facility for the SSC CHSL Tier 2 Answer Key is now active on www.ssc.gov.in and will close on 23 April 2026. Please be aware that the sequence of questions in the portal may vary from the actual test paper; ensure you verify the question ID carefully before filing any challenge.

Note: The objection portal is open from 20 April (01:00 PM) to 23 April 2026 (06:00 PM).

How to Raise Objections Against the Tier 2 Answer Key?

  1. Go to the SSC website at www.ssc.gov.in.
  2. Log in with their Registration Number and Password.
  3. Click on the Answer Key and Objection Link
  4. Log in again.
  5. Now, select the question number you want to challenge.
  6. Submit any valid documents to support your answer.
  7. Pay the objection fee and submit your challenge application.

Candidates identifying any errors in the provisional keys may raise an objection online by paying a processing fee of Rs. 50 per challenged question.

SSC CHSL Tier 2 Marks Calculation

Calculate your approximate Tier 2 score using the following official SSC marking scheme:

  • Each question = 3 marks
  • Negative marking = 1 mark for every wrong answer (Maths, Reasoning, English, GA)
  • 0 Marks for unattempted questions
  • No negative marking in the Computer Knowledge section
  • Typing/Skill Test is qualifying only

Calculation Formula:

Total Marks = (Correct Answers in Section 1 & 2 × 3) - (Incorrect Answers × 1) + (Correct Answers in Section 3 × 3)

SSC Latest Update: Option-cum-Preference Before Tier 2 Result

The Commission has announced that an Option-cum-Preference window will open prior to the publication of the final result and the First Round of Tentative Allocation (FRTA).

  • Candidates must submit their post preferences within the stipulated time.
  • Those who fail to submit preferences will not be considered for any post in the final result.
  • A separate notice regarding activation of the Option-cum-Preference window will be released shortly on the SSC website and regional websites.
