To qualify for the Super TET examination, candidates must achieve the prescribed minimum qualifying marks.

1. Score the minimum qualifying marks
   • General Category: At least 60 out of 150 marks (40%)
   • SC/ST/OBC/PwD: At least 49.5 out of 150 marks (33%)
2. Get a good rank in the final merit list

Note that merely passing the cut-off is not sufficient. Final selection is determined by a merit-based score generated by the UPESSC.

The comprehensive merit list is calculated based on specific academic weightage and performance metrics:

• 40% weightage comes from your academic qualifications, including High School, Intermediate, Graduation, and D.El.Ed/B.Ed.
