Chattisgarh Public Service Commision

Chhattisgarh public service commission came into existence on 1st November, 2000 and the short form is CGPSC. It was formed by the act passed under the Constitution of India on 23rd May 2001. It is located at Bhagat Singh Square Raipur (Chhattisgarh). The relevant exams conducted by Chhattisgarh public service commission are related to state civil and service exams. CGPSC performs the function related to conducting of examinations for the appointments in the state and it also advises the state government in matters related with the state civil service, eligibility, transfer and promotion of the civil servants. At the same time it handles matters related with compensation and monetary benefits to the civil servant by the state government.
