Gujarat Vidyapeeth

Gujarat Vidyapith was founded by Mahatma Gandhi on October 18, 1920 to liberate the Indian youths from the shackles of British colonial rule. As against the British colonial education system, propounded by Lord Macaulay, that produced human resources for the oppressive British Empire, Gandhi wanted his Vidyapith to prepare the youths for the task of national reconstruction and usher in 'Hind Swaraj', the India of his dream. Gujarat Vidyapith was established as a national university without a government charter. Gandhiji was its life-long chancellor. Professor A T Gidwani was its founder vice-chancellor. Later, many more institutions, colleges, and schools were affiliated to the Vidyapith. In 1923, the total number of students in these institutions stood at 30,000. Until 1930, Vidyapith imparted graduation-level courses in languages such as Gujarati, Marathi, Bengali, Sanskrit, Persian, and English as well as in History, Mathematics, Philosophy, Economics, Accountancy, Music, Political Science, Pharmacy, Archaeology and Ideology.

Students can Download their Respective Semester Exams Scheme for Master Degree Programme, Bachelor Degree Programme, Diploma & Advance Diploma Programme & Certificates Programme, the course will be held in August/ December for all Semester Exams, Exams will be held in two sessions Forenoon & Afternoon. Time Limit for Exam is 3 Hours. Students are advised to keep in touch with the website check notification timely.

GVP, AHMEDABAD Exam Admit Card / Hall Ticket Download

The Students going to appear for the Gujarat Vidyapith examination can get the admit card/Hall Ticket. The authorities are planning to release the admit card on the official website. The contenders can get the admit card from the official website by giving the details like application number and date of birth. The admit card contains all the details like admit card number, exam date, exam time and more details of the Students. The contender needs to carry the admit card while going for the exam. The candidates without admit card will not allow for the exam. The contenders can follow us for more details.

Instructions for Downloading the  Hall Ticket 2019:

• In order to download the Hall Ticket, the Students shall have to log on to the official website of Gujarat Vidyapith.
• Here the Students will have to check the Examination Result /Scheme section.
• Once the above mentioned section has been opened, the Students will get the link for downloading the Hall Ticket.
• After clicking on the above mentioned link, the Students will have to enter their Name, Father’s Name, and Program name and then click on submit.
• After submitting, the Students will be able to download the Hall Ticket.

Gujarat Vidyapith Admission 2019

Gujarat Vidyapith (GVP) offers a variety of UG programs including Physical Education and Library & Information Sciences. The B.A., B.Sc., and BPES programs take three years to complete while the B.Ed. the program takes two years to complete. The remaining courses take only one year to complete.

For the B.A., B.Sc., and BPES programs, the student must be a 12th (10+2) passed. For the rest of the programs, the students may be graduates of any discipline. It should also be noted that for the B.Sc. program, the students must be of the Science stream in 12th (10+2) passed.

For admission into the B.Ed. Hindi course (which is NCTE approved), the students must also appear for an admission test conducted by the University. After clearing the admission test, the qualified students may have to attend a personal interview before the final selection

Gujarat Vidyapith PG programs include the usual programs like MA, M.Ed., MSW, and M.Sc. The institution also offers a Postgraduate degree in Library Sciences and Physical Education. Most of the programs under the PG course take about two years to complete, while the M.Lib.I.Sc. takes only one-year to complete.

Admission into the M.A. and MSW requires the students to be a graduate of any discipline. Other courses necessitate the students to be graduates of the same discipline. The student can find the application form on the university official website.

Students must know that they can either directly submit the application form at the University or submit the form online.
