Back Paper, Improvement & Revaluation at Kumaun University
Back Paper / Special Back Paper
In Kumaun University (as in most UP and Uttarakhand universities), students who fail in one or more subjects appear for the Back Paper exam. A "Special Back Paper" is an additional opportunity for students who still couldn't clear the subject in the regular back paper. Improvement Exam
Students who have passed but want to improve their marks can appear for the Improvement exam. This is especially useful for students looking to boost their percentage for higher education admissions or competitive exam eligibility. Revaluation / Scrutiny of Answer Sheets
If you believe your answer sheet has not been evaluated properly, Kumaun University allows you to apply for revaluation (re-evaluation by a different examiner) and scrutiny (re-checking of totalling and unmarked answers). Applications must be submitted within the prescribed deadline after the result declaration. Your old results (before the transfer) will still be on the KU portal, but new results (after the transfer) will be on the SSJU portal.
