Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University was originally ‘The College of Engineering, Vizagpatnam’ at the time of its establishment in 1946. It is well-known as JNTU Kakinada and JNTUK. It is now having a vast campus of 110 acres, greenery with mango trees surrounded in its vicinity. JNTU-K campus is in the fast developing Port city of Kakinada, East coast of peninsular India. Kakinada has a rich political literacy and cultural heritage passed on through generations. 

This college became a constituent of the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University w.e.f 02-10-1972 through an act of legislature along with other sister institutions under control of the Director of Technical Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh. Earlier, it was affiliated to Andhra University, then in the year 2003 the college has become autonomous. 

There are various Courses like Engineering, management, Law, Computers, Pharmacy etc. Provided by JNTUK and are prestigious for the Education. JNTU Kakinada plays an advisory role to the Department of Technical Education Government of Andhra Pradesh and to Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education. Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada Admission 2019

For admission to Undergraduate programmes offered by the university, Students should have passed 12th (10+2) examination with a minimum aggregate. Admission to Undergraduate courses is based upon the AP-EAMCET (Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test). Therefore, along with 50% marks in 12th (10+2) with Physics and Mathematics as major subjects, a Student must pass EAMCET in order to get admission in JNTUK. Students seeking admission can fill the relevant application from through the official EAMCET website.

In case of Postgraduate courses, the scores of GATE are accepted for admission to M.Tech programme. Selection of Students for MBA and MCA courses offered by the university is done on the basis of APICET, organized by Andhra University, Visakhapatnam on behalf of APSCHE. Students who satisfy the relevant eligibility criteria can fill the relevant application form through the official APICET website and submit the required fee to appear for the exam.

Online Exam Form of JNTUK

AP EAMCET 2019 application form will be available in online mode from February 28. Aspiring Students can fill the application form without late fee till March 29. Students have the option to pay the application fee of Rs. 500 either at the online centres of AP EAMCET and TS EAMCET or through online mode using credit card, debit card or net banking.
