Yogi Vemana University, the erstwhile SVUPG Centre upgraded to premier State University by an Act of the Government of Andhra Pradesh in March 2007 is committed to academic excellence and social enrichment for the well being of the people of Andhra Pradesh in general and of Rayalaseema region in particular. It is named after a great thinker, philosopher, and social reformer Yogi Vemana, the most celebrated Telugu poet and sage of all time. The University located 15Kms away from Kadapa City on the Kadapa-Pulivendula road has about 1100 acres of land for its main Campus. The Campus has adequate infrastructure facilities-majestic buildings with modern architecture and laboratory facilities with sophisticated instruments and hostels with modern amenities and above all has the serene atmosphere with greenery all around for the students to pursue their studies and research.

Yogi Vemana University Admit cards 2019 Examinations for Undergraduate/ Postgraduate courses will begin shortly at the examination centers allotted by the Yogi Vemana University. The detailed Examination events/ exam dates/ Exam center & Roll no shall be mentioned in the Exam Admit cards. Yogi Vemana University Summer 2019 Admit cards shall be anticipated through university website 2 weeks preceding to Exams.

Yogi Vemana University Admission 2019

Different admission measures are taken into consideration to select the students for Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Ph.D. courses. For Undergraduate, the Students are selected on the basis of their JEE score as the University only provides engineering courses for this level. For Postgraduate, Students are selected on the basis of merit in YVU-CET and for Ph.D., the eligibility criteria of the Students varies from specialization to specialization. Yogi Vemana University (YVU) offers B.Tech or Bachelor of Engineering course in six specializations. The duration of all the specializations is 4 years individually. Students seeking admission to this course need to appear for the JEE (Joint Entrance Exam). Selection will be done on the rank achieved by the Student in the JEE entrance. There are 40 seats available for all the specializations except Metallurgy & Material Engineering. Metallurgy & Material Engineering has 30 seats available for all the willing Students. Students must have to pass with an aggregate of 55% marks in 12th (10+2) level with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

Yogi Vemana University has a number of different kind of offerings in its Postgraduate (PG) programmes. M.Sc Integrated, M.Sc, M.P.Ed, M.Ed, M.Com, PG Diploma, MJC, and M.A is the Postgraduate courses offered by the University to you. Duration of all the Postgraduate courses is of two years each except M.Sc Integrated and PG Diploma. Duration time of M.Sc Integrated is five years while the duration of PG Diploma is of one year. The willing Students must have to attend and pass an entrance exam called the YVU-CET, organized by the university. The university will select the Students according to their scores obtained in YVU-CET. M.Sc Integrated and M.Sc offers 5% marks relaxations for its SC/ST Students.
