Magadh University was established on 01 March, 1962. It is the largest University of Bihar situated in a sprawling Campus of 460 Acres of Land enjoying the spiritual breeze of the Bodhi Tree which enlightened Lord Buddha. Dr sarvapali Radhakrishnan, the then President of India laid the Foundation of This University. Dr. K.K Dutta, renowned Historian was the Founder Vice- Chancellor of this University. It imparts Post- Graduate teaching in the Faculties of Humanities, Science, Commerce, Management, and Vocational in 29 Subjects. It offers hostel facilities to the entire student in nine hostels. In almost every faculty state and National Level Seminars are organized regularly. There are 44 constituent and 105 affiliated colleges under this University. The quality of teaching, discipline and secular atmosphere attract foreign student every year which has offered a global halo to the University. The distant mode of Education system has launched dozens of Diploma and Degree courses catering to the need of needy aspirants. The College of Hotel, Hospitality and Tourism Management, Academy of Foreign Languages and cultural Cooperation, Institute of Physiotherapy, Institute of Reconstruction and Development Management and Department of Education are the Job- Oriented Courses Which Captivate the attention of Learners.

Students can Download their Respective Semester Exams Scheme for Master Degree Programme, Bachelor Degree Programme, Diploma & Advance Diploma Programme & Certificates Programme, the course will be held in August/ December for all Semester Exams, Exams will be held in two sessions Forenoon & Afternoon. MU, GAYA Exam Admit Card / Hall Ticket Download

Students pursuing Undergraduate/ Postgraduate program from Magadh University can download UG/PG Exam Hall Ticket as per their program in which student is pursuing. Access via online mode and get your MU, GAYA Admit Card as it is the mandatory document to carry in the examination hall. without the valid admit card students cannot appear the examination. For the ease of the Students, the direct link to download the Admit Card has been provided here. The postulants get the admit card with the details of Student name, exam venue, exam date, timing etc. Participants should carry hall ticket along with original id proof to the examination hall. Magadh University Admission 2019

The Magadh University offers various courses at UG and PG level. It offers 19 different Undergraduate courses in multiple disciplines.

The registration is done in online as well as offline mode. Students who wish to apply are advised to submit their application till the deadline. Aspirants need to pay an application fee of INR 500 at the time of registration procedure.

The selection of eligible Students is done on the basis of merit list. Shortlisted Students on the basis of merit list will be considered for admission procedure.

Admission to the Postgraduate course in Magadh University is based on the marks secured in by Students in the qualifying examination i.e. Bachelor’s degree.

Duration of the Postgraduate courses is two-year.

Application forms must be submitted before the last date.

Application forms can be filled in both the ways i.e. online as well as offline.

The application fee is INR 500 for General/OBC/ PWD and INR 250 for SC/ ST Aspirants.

Minimum eligibility criteria for admission is Masters’ program is that Students must have secured at least 50% marks in respective bachelors’ degree.

Admission is done on the Merit basis followed by document verification procedure.

For Ph.D., Student needs to hold a master’s degree to be eligible.

Admission to Ph.D. is done on the basis of Pre-Ph.D. Entrance Test.
