Gujarat Technological University, commonly known as GTU, is a statewide institution affiliating many respected engineering, pharmacy, and management colleges and varsities across the western Indian state of Gujarat. It is basically located in Ahmedabad. The university is head by the state government and came into existence on the 16th of May, 2007. Earlier, The University was the major university of Gujarat state heading all colleges including technical colleges. To ensure more proficient and systematic imparting of technical education, the state government formulated GTU. Present Vice Chancellor of this premier university is Dr. A. K. Aggarwal. 

University always keeps the students updated by doing all the type of advancements in infrastructure. This also helps the students in their future career. GTU affiliates the institutes for the Diploma, Degree, and Master of engineering courses consisting of Ph.D [Doctoral Programs] and Pharmacy courses for Bachelors and Masters, Management courses and MCA. University also conducts many international programs for the students as well as staff. One of the international programs is International Study Experience Program (IEP) or we can say Summer Internship Program. In this, the students and faculties visit the foreign Country/University in the semester break for studying the various topics and exploring Foreign Business Trade systems as well as Technological & Research developments.

GTU Exam Admit Card / Hall Ticket Download

Gujarat Technological University is going to release the Annual Exam Undergraduate and Postgraduate 1st, 2nd, 3rd Year Admit Card 2019. Those applicants who are going to appear in the exam may download admit card via the Official Website Portal. Candidates should do full preparation before attending the exam. The University will conduct the Annual Exam in the month of March-April 2019. Students will be able to download the Hall Ticket at the official website. Students can check the Exam Time Table or Date Sheet on the official website.

Before the examination, students are going to prepare for the UG/PG exams and they will occur in the exam hall very soon. And they have needed to admit card before the Examination. Gujarat Technological University Admission 2019

Admissions to the UG professional courses are done by GTU through Online mode. The registration link is available at the official ACPC website. The information booklet with the PIN is available at the branches of DENA BANK throughout Gujarat for INR 500. Online registration for the courses generally starts in the last week of June spanning over September end

• Gujarat Technological University releases the application dates for Undergraduate programs considering the result date of Higher Secondary Certificate (H.S.C) exam. The admission is done on the basis of merit list and as per the government circular, colleges cannot take admission through any entrance test for the courses.
• The admission procedure mentioned here is for various UG courses offered by GTU such as BE, B.Tech, B.Pharm, B.Architecture, B.Planning, B.Hotel and Tourism management etc.
• Admission to the Engineering courses is done on the basis of GUJCET/JEE main, where 60% weight is given to HSC qualifying examination and 40% to the entrance exam scores.

For the admission to the first year of M.E./M.Tech and Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm.) programme in government, Grant-in-aid and self-financed institutes in Gujarat State, on state quota of all institutions and management quota, surrendered seats of self financed institutes, Government of Gujarat has decided to carry out web-based online admission procedure. Eligible Students shall have to register online through the internet for admission.

• The student shall have passed B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent examination with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/SEBC Students) at qualifying exam for M.E. / M. Tech courses or B. Pharm with minimum 55% (50% for SC/ST/SEBC Students) at qualifying exam for M. Pharm courses for seeking admission into post Graduate disciplines and its specialisations 
• The student should have qualified GATE/GPAT/PGCET

For the admission in first year of Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Computer Application (MCA) and MCA Lateral Entry (Direct Second Year) in Government, Grant-in-aid and Self Financed Institutes in Gujarat State, on State quota of all institutions and management quota surrendered seats of self financed institutes, Government of Gujarat has decided to carry out web based online admission procedure.

• Graduate with minimum 50 % (45 % for SC/ST/SEBC) for MBA, MCA and MCA lateral
• For MCA, Student shall also have passed the Higher Secondary School Examination (Standard 12th, 10+2 pattern) or Bachelors’ degree in Mathematics or Business Mathematics or Statistics as one of the subjects.
• For MCA Lateral Entry (Direct Second Year), Students who have passed the qualifying examination in the stream of Bachelor of Computer Application or Bachelor of Science (IT) or Bachelor of Science (Computer) are only eligible
• The student must have qualified CMAT.
