According to a recent circular released by the All India Bank Employees’ Association (AIBEA), public sector banks are preparing to recruit over 22,325 clerks throughout the 2026-27 financial year. This projection is based on the official recruitment indents submitted by various banks for the upcoming cycle.
The circular confirms that the IBPS has processed 15,736 recruitment dossiers to facilitate the hiring of Customer Service Associates (CSA), commonly known as bank clerks, across 11 public sector banks. These vacancies are slated for fulfillment between April 2026 and March 2027.

As per the official notification, these 15,736 positions will be filled exclusively through the standardized IBPS clerical recruitment process. These openings are distributed among several leading public sector banks.
