Under the Bihar Employment Mission 2025–2030, the administration aims to facilitate one crore job opportunities for the youth over the next five years. Building on the successful track record of 50 lakh jobs provided between 2020 and 2025, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has emphasized that this new mission will focus on large-scale, sustainable employment through long-term structural reforms.

To support this economic transformation, the Bihar Cabinet has greenlit critical development projects, including a state-led AI Mission, the construction of new townships, industrial growth corridors, and advanced technology infrastructure. Government’s Employment Roadmap

The Bihar Government has finalized a comprehensive employment roadmap to anchor the Bihar Employment Mission 2025 to 2030. Achievements: 2020–2025

• Leveraging the success of the Saat Nischay-2 programme, which successfully delivered 50 lakh employment opportunities, the government is scaling its efforts to meet the demands of the modern workforce.

New Target: 2025–2030

• The state is now committed to creating 1 crore jobs over the next five years as the core pillar of the Bihar Employment Mission 2025 to 2030.

3. Construction of 11 new townships across divisional headquarters and key cities like Sitamarhi and Sonepur

4. Establishment of dedicated Foreign and Defence Industrial Corridors

5. Development of a state-of-the-art Semiconductor Park

6. Promotion of Global Capability Centres (GCCs) to attract multinational investment

7. Development of Mega Tech Cities and designated Fintech Hubs

8. Formation of a High-Level Committee to execute the roadmap and report progress within six months
