Important Guidelines

  • Age will be calculated based on the date of birth mentioned in the Matriculation certificate.
  • PwD candidates are eligible for 10 years age relaxation as per government rules.
  • Government employees with a minimum of 3 years of continuous service are eligible for 5 years age relaxation.
  • Contractual employees working in the same department will get age relaxation equal to their service period.

Documents Required for Online Application

All applicants must upload scanned copies of their documents in the required formats (typically PDF or JPEG) as specified below:

  • Educational Proof: Final Year Marksheet and Degree/Diploma Certificate.
  • Domicile Certificate: Required for any candidate claiming reservation benefits in Bihar.
  • Caste/Category Certificate: OBC-NCL: Must specifically mention “Non-Creamy Layer” and be issued by the competent Bihar authority (SDO/CO).
  • EWS: Must be for the current financial year (2026-27).
  • Experience Certificate: If claiming points, it must be on the official letterhead of the Bihar Government institution where you served, signed by the Head of the Institute.

BTSC Laboratory Assistant Exam Pattern

  • The Merit list will be prepared based on CBT marks + Work Experience.
  • 75% weightage is given to CBT marks (CBT marks × 0.75).
  • Candidates must score at least 60% marks in the written exam to qualify.
