Educational Qualifications
Applicants must possess a Graduate Degree in any stream from a recognized university or an equivalent educational qualification.
Additional Terms and Conditions
- You must be an Indian citizen.
- You should not have done apprenticeship training earlier, with Canara Bank or any other organisation, or be doing it now.
- Candidates with one year or more of training or job experience after completing their qualification are not eligible.
- Ex-servicemen are not engaged as apprentices, and there is no reservation for them.
- OBC candidates must have a valid Non-Creamy Layer certificate. Creamy layer candidates should apply as General.
Canara Bank Apprentice 2026 Selection Procedure
The selection process for the Canara Bank Apprentice program includes the following mandatory stages:
- Merit list: Prepared state-wise, based on your 12th (HSC/10+2) or Diploma percentage. If two candidates have the same percentage, the older candidate is ranked higher.
- Minimum marks: 60% in 12th/Diploma (55% for SC/ST/PwBD). A score of 59.99% is treated as below 60%.
- Document verification and local language test: Held together. You are exempt from the language test if your 10th or 12th marksheet shows you studied the chosen local language.
- Medical fitness: Selected candidates must be declared medically fit.

- Register as a new user. Click “Click here for new registration”, fill in your details and enter your NATS enrollment ID. Save the provisional registration number and password.
