According to the official notification released on February 24, 2026, the CBSE confirmed that the CTET Paper-II was successfully conducted at 1801 of the 1803 designated centres nationwide. Due to unforeseen administrative challenges, the examination could not proceed at two specific locations on February 07, 2026. To ensure parity, the CBSE has arranged a dedicated re-examination for candidates registered at these two specific centres in Vaishali (Hajipur), Bihar.

CTET Exam Revised Date Announced for Bihar Centres

The revised date for the CTET 2026 Paper-II at the identified Bihar centres is March 01, 2026 (Sunday). The examination will take place at the original test venues; there will be no changes to the allotted locations. This re-exam is exclusively for candidates who were unable to sit for the test due to the disruptions on the initial date. The affected centres are listed below:

Revised CTET Hall Ticket 2026

The CBSE will soon release the updated Hall tickets via the candidate login portal on the official website, ctet.nic.in. Possession of the revised Hall ticket is mandatory for entry into the examination hall. Affected candidates should adhere to the following steps:

• Log in to the CTET application portal.
• Download the revised Hall ticket once released.
• Check the exam date, centre details, and reporting time carefully.
• Carry the revised Hall ticket to the exam centre on 01 March 2026.

All CTET 2026 Applicants Need to Appear for Re-Exam?

Candidates who successfully appeared for the exam at any other centre across India do not need to take any further action, as their examination process is complete. Only those candidates who were originally allotted to the two impacted Vaishali, Bihar centres are required to sit for this re-examination.
