GGV Faculty Eligibility Criteria

The minimum eligibility criteria for Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor roles strictly adhere to the latest guidelines set by the UGC, AICTE, NCTE, and the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI), as amended periodically.

Assistant Professor
  • Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks
  • Must have cleared UGC/CSIR NET or SLET/SET
  • Candidates awarded Ph.D. degree in accordance with UGC Regulations 2009/2016 are exempted from NET/SLET/SET.
Associate Professor
  • Master’s Degree with minimum 55% marks and PhD degree in applied subject
  • Minimum 8 years of teaching/research experience
  • At least 7 research publications and Minimum research score of 75
Professor
  • Ph.D. degree in the concerned/allied discipline.
  • Minimum 10 research publications with research score of 120
  • An outstanding professional with a Ph.D. degree from academia/industry with 10 years of experience.

Application Screening All applications will be scrutinized by the Screening Committee based on eligibility, academic qualifications, experience, research publications, and University requirements.
Shortlisting Mere fulfillment of minimum eligibility does not guarantee shortlisting. The University may apply higher or additional criteria to shortlist the most suitable candidates for interview
Interview Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. The Selection Committee will evaluate candidates based on overall performance and suitability for the post.
Final Selection Final selection will be made on the basis of screening, interview performance, and verification of documents. The Selection Committee may recommend a candidate for a lower post or higher initial pay in deserving cases.
