The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has officially opened the application correction window for IBPS PO 2026 (CRP PO/MT-XVI) and IBPS SO 2026 (CRP SPL-XVI). This limited-time correction facility is available from 29 July to 30 July 2026. Candidates must log in using their registered credentials, including their Registration Number and Password/Date of Birth, to modify eligible fields.

How to Edit IBPS PO, SO Application Form 2026?

Follow these simple steps to update your application details successfully:

Step 1: Visit the official IBPS portal at www.ibps.in.

Step 2: Select the specific link for CRP PO/MT-XVI or CRP SPL-XVI application correction.

Step 3: Authenticate your account using your Registration Number and Password or Date of Birth.

Step 4: Navigate to the submitted application form section.

Step 5: Modify the specific details allowed for correction by IBPS.

Category Change Rules

IBPS strictly limits category modifications to specific permissible combinations; please check the official notice for details.

• Candidates changing their category from General/EWS/OBC (NCL) to SC/ST/PwBD will not receive any refund of the application fee already paid.
• Category changes outside the prescribed combinations are not permitted.

IBPS Application Correction Fee 2026

Candidates must pay a non-refundable correction fee of Rs. 200 (inclusive of GST) via the online payment gateway. This fee is mandatory for all categories to save the updated application.

This fee is strictly non-refundable and cannot be credited or adjusted for any future IBPS recruitment examinations.

• The correction facility can be used only once.
• Verify every detail carefully before final submission.
