For Joint PhD (IIT Patna + Lincoln University College, Malaysia):

• 4-year UG (B.Tech / B.E. / BS) with 60% or CPI 6.5, OR
• 2-year PG (M.Tech / M.E. / MS / M.Sc. / MCA / MBA) with 60% or CPI 6.5.

IIT Patna PhD Selection Process

Candidates are shortlisted based on their academic performance and valid GATE/NET scores. Please note that fulfilling minimum eligibility does not guarantee an interview call. The selection process at IIT Patna follows a rigorous and transparent methodology as outlined below:

• Shortlisting: Based on GATE / NET score and marks in qualifying examination.
