Eligibility Criteria For JPSC Drug Inspector Recruitment 2026
Applicants for the JPSC Drug Inspector Recruitment 2026 must adhere strictly to the educational qualifications and age requirements established by the Jharkhand Public Service Commission.

Educational Qualification
- To be eligible for the post of Drug Inspector, a candidate must possess any one of the following qualifications from a university established in India by law:
- Degree in Pharmacy, or

- Degree in Medicine (MBBS) with specialization in Clinical Pharmacology or Microbiology
- The qualification must be in accordance with Rule 49 of the Drugs and Cosmetics Rules, 1945.
Experience Requirement
- Only those candidates will be authorized to inspect the manufacture of Schedule-C drugs who fulfill at least one of the following experience conditions:
- Minimum 18 months’ experience in the manufacture of at least one substance specified in Schedule C, or
- Minimum 18 months’ experience in testing of at least one Schedule-C substance in a laboratory approved by the licensing authority, or
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in the inspection of firms manufacturing Schedule-C substances during service as a Drug Inspector.
