PhD Admission Eligibility Criteria
Admissions are processed based on performance in national-level examinations, including UGC-NET, GATE, and GPAT, categorized into three distinct entry tracks:
- Category 1: Ph.D. with JRF + Assistant Professor eligibility
- Category 2: Ph.D. without JRF + Assistant Professor eligibility
- Category 3: Ph.D. only (no JRF/Assistant Professor)
- Candidates with valid JRF prior to 2025 are eligible.
- For Category 2 & 3, qualifying in UGC-NET/UGC-CSIR Dec 2024/June 2025 cycles or equivalent tests is mandatory.
- Candidates who have NET only before Dec 2024 are not eligible.
- 5% relaxation in marks/grade applies to SC/ST/OBC-NCL/Differently-Abled/EWS and other categories.
- All eligibility conditions must be fulfilled by the last date of application.
2.Educational Qualification Criteria
