NABARD Grade A Educational Qualification Summary
General: Bachelor’s degree in any subject with a minimum 60% (55% for SC/ST/PWBD) or Post Graduate/ MBA/ PGDM (min 55%, SC/ST/PWBD 50%) or CA/CS/CMA/ICWA or PhD.
Chartered Accountant: Bachelor’s Degree + Membership of ICAI
Company Secretary: Bachelor’s Degree + Associate/Fellow Membership of ICSI.
Finance: Bachelor’s in Finance/Banking, or PG Diploma/MBA/MMS (Finance) + Bachelor’s, or Bachelor of Financial & Investment Analysis, or Membership of ICAI/ICMAI/CFA (USA)/FRM (GARP).
Computer/IT: Four-year Bachelor’s in Computer Science/Engineering/ IT/ Electronics/ AI/ ML, etc. (60%, SC/ST/ PWBD 55%) or relevant PG (55%, SC/ST/PWBD 50%) or Graduate + DOEACC B Level (60%, SC/ST/PWBD 55%).

Salary Structure & Career Growth
Selected candidates enter on an initial basic pay of ₹44,500 per month, with overall gross emoluments scaling up to approximately ₹1,00,000 per month. The training period is structured across a 2-year probationary timeframe, which can be extended by up to one more year depending on performance. Note that there are no restrictions on the number of attempts for the exam as long as the eligibility criteria are fulfilled.
The candidates who select as a NABARD Grade A officer, undergo a 2 year of probationary/training period. It can also be extended up to one more year based on their performance
There are no limits to attempt for NABARD Grade A exam. The Candidates can apply for the NABARD Grade A until they can meet the eligibility criteria.
No NABARD Grade A not a gazetted officer job but it is much more prestigious job in India.
For Grade A, the latest official notification lists a starting basic pay of ₹44,500 per month, with initial gross emoluments of approximately ₹1 lakh.
