NIACL AO Nationality

To be eligible for the NIACL AO recruitment (Generalist or Specialist), candidates must meet the following residency and citizenship requirements:

  1. a citizen of India, or
  2. a subject of Nepal, or
  3. a subject of Bhutan, or
  4. a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 01st January 1962 to permanently settle in India, or
  5. a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam, intending to permanently settle in India.

Candidates belonging to categories (b), (c), (d), and (e) must provide a valid certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India to proceed with their application.

  3. Click on New Registration and enter your name, contact details, and email ID.
  4. Once registered, a Provisional Registration Number and Password will be displayed on the screen. Candidates must note these details carefully.
  5. The same Registration Number and Password will also be sent to the registered email ID and mobile number.
  6. Fill in all the required information in the form. Use the “SAVE AND NEXT” option to review and edit the details before final submission.
  7. Upload all the required documents and photograph/signatures as per the given instructions, then continue to complete the rest of the application form.
