NPCIL Educational Qualification 2026

Plant Operator	12th with Science Stream (PCM). English at the 10th level.
Electronics Mechanic, Instrumentation Mechanic, Electrician, Fitter, Turner, Machinist, Welder	10th with Science and Mathematics. An ITI certificate in the relevant trade. 1 year of relevant working experience. English at the 10th level.
Special Note (Covid-19)	No minimum marks required for 2021 pass-out candidates.
Project Affected Persons (PAPs) – Plant Operator	12th Science (PCM) with minimum 40% marks. English at the 10th level. 20% bonus marks added at all stages of selection.
Project Affected Persons (PAPs) – Other Trades	10th with Science and Mathematics. English at the 10th level. 2-year ITI (or 1-year ITI + 1 year experience for shorter trades). 20% bonus marks added at all stages of selection.

NPCIL Salary Structure 2026

Beyond the base pay, the NPCIL compensation package for 2026 includes Dearness Allowance, performance-linked perks, Provident Fund, Gratuity, Pension, Leave Encashment, and comprehensive insurance coverage. Employees and their families are also entitled to extensive medical benefits.

Training Bond Amount	Rs. 5,07,000/- (Indemnity bond/bank guarantee for 5 years)
Bond Breach Consequence	Amount repayable equivalent to the total stipend plus the book allowance actually received
