What’s Next Stage After Result?
Candidates who have successfully qualified for the next stage of the recruitment process must prepare for the following:
- Download Intimation Letter: Shortlisted candidates must log in to www.osssc.gov.in starting 14 July 2026, to download their online Intimation Letter. No physical hard copies will be sent through the post.
- Document Verification (DV): The physical verification of original documents will begin on 21 July 2026, at local District Collector offices.
- Final Select List: After validating all credentials, the Commission will release the final merit list strictly up to 100% of the advertised vacancies.
- Appointment & Onboarding: Successful candidates will be allocated to their respective posts based on their final merit, category, and preferences. Following this allocation, the concerned departments will issue formal appointment letters and onboarding details.

According to the official notification, Document Verification (DV) is set to begin on July 21, 2026. While most candidates will undergo verification at their local District Collector's office, a special arrangement is in place for Puri district candidates: due to the Ratha Yatra, they must report to the OSSSC main office in Bhubaneswar for their document verification.
