Per official Notification-02/2026, released on June 27, 2026, the University of Kota has finalized September 13, 2026, as the revised date for the Rajasthan State Eligibility Test.
The Rajasthan SET 2026 now encompasses 37 subjects. This expansion follows the recent addition of Mass Communication and Journalism and Sanskrit Traditional Subjects to the previous list of 35.
The University of Kota conducts the Rajasthan State Eligibility Test (SET) to determine candidate eligibility for the role of Assistant Professor across universities and colleges throughout the state.
The Rajasthan SET 2026 structure features 150 objective-style questions totaling 300 marks. The examination is held over a single three-hour block with no negative marking policy in place.
To qualify, General and EWS candidates must secure a minimum of 55% marks, while OBC (NCL), SC, ST, and PwD candidates are required to achieve a minimum of 50% marks.
