How to Calculate the RBI Grade B Marks

To estimate your RBI Grade B Phase 1 marks, tally your total correct responses and calculate your negative marks (0.25 penalty per incorrect answer).

Subtract the total negative penalty from the marks gained through correct answers to arrive at your estimated score. Use the official formula provided below:

Total Marks = (Number of Correct Answers × 1) – (Number of Wrong Answers × 0.25)

Calculation Example:

If a candidate has 65 correct answers and 12 incorrect answers, the calculation is as follows:

Correct Answer Marks = 65 × 1 = 65

Negative Penalty = 12 × 0.25 = 3

Net Total Marks = 65 – 3 = 62 (Out of 200)
