How to Apply for RDWU Recruitment 2026

The recruitment process for RDWU faculty requires both an online digital submission and the dispatch of a physical hard copy. Follow our step-by-step guide to complete your application successfully without errors.

  • Visit the official HIMS Portal at https://hims.odisha.gov.in/
  • Register and fill in the online application form with all required details.
  • Upload all supporting documents in PDF or image format (photograph in JPEG, below 200 KB).
  • Pay the application fee online as per your category.
  • Submit the form and download the PDF of the submitted application.
  • Take a printout of the application form and attach self-attested copies of all uploaded documents.
  • Send the hard copy via Speed Post to: The Registrar, Rama Devi Women’s University, Vidya Vihar, P.O.-Bhoi Nagar, Bhubaneswar – 751022, District-Khorda, Odisha.
  • The hard copy must reach the university on or before 20.06.2026. Courier, ordinary post, or hand delivery will not be accepted.

RDWU Faculty Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the eligibility standards stipulated in the UGC notification dated 18th July 2018, along with all recent amendments. RDWU Faculty Selection Process

The selection procedure for RDWU 2026 faculty recruitment follows the two-stage process outlined in the UGC Notification dated 18th July 2018. Final candidates will be selected based on their performance during the preliminary scrutiny and the subsequent interview phase.
Stage 1 – Academic Screening/Scrutiny:

  • All applications received by the due date will be screened as per UGC norms.
  • A list of eligible and ineligible candidates will be displayed on the university website.
  • For a single post, a maximum of 15 candidates will be shortlisted for interview; for multiple posts, the ratio is 1:10 based on scores during scrutiny.

Stage 2 – Formal Selection Interview:

  • Shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview.
  • The PPT must cover: brief biodata, subject domain strength, practical skills, student empowerment strategy, use of AI in pedagogy, funded research projects, consultancy research, and potential for national/international collaborations.
  • Candidates will be assessed on cognitive domain (subject knowledge), psychomotor domain (experience and skill), and affective domain (confidence, vision, student empowerment).

RDWU Faculty Salary

Selected faculty members will receive a competitive compensation package aligned with the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) scales, inclusive of all government-sanctioned allowances provided by the Odisha State Government.
