RDWU Faculty Selection Process
The selection procedure for RDWU 2026 faculty recruitment follows the two-stage process outlined in the UGC Notification dated 18th July 2018. Final candidates will be selected based on their performance during the preliminary scrutiny and the subsequent interview phase.
Stage 1 – Academic Screening/Scrutiny:
- All applications received by the due date will be screened as per UGC norms.
- A list of eligible and ineligible candidates will be displayed on the university website.
- For a single post, a maximum of 15 candidates will be shortlisted for interview; for multiple posts, the ratio is 1:10 based on scores during scrutiny.
Stage 2 – Formal Selection Interview:
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview.
- The PPT must cover: brief biodata, subject domain strength, practical skills, student empowerment strategy, use of AI in pedagogy, funded research projects, consultancy research, and potential for national/international collaborations.
- Candidates will be assessed on cognitive domain (subject knowledge), psychomotor domain (experience and skill), and affective domain (confidence, vision, student empowerment).
RDWU Faculty Salary
Selected faculty members will receive a competitive compensation package aligned with the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) scales, inclusive of all government-sanctioned allowances provided by the Odisha State Government.
