Educational Qualification for RML Nursing Officer

Option 1 – Degree Qualification
- B.Sc (Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc Nursing from an INC-recognised Institute or University, or
B.Sc (Post-Certificate) / Post-Basic B.Sc Nursing from an INC-recognised Institute or University. - Must be registered as a Nurse & Midwife with the State Nursing Council / Indian Nursing Council.
Option 2 – Diploma Qualification
- Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery (GNM) from an INC-recognised Institute or Board.
- Must be registered as a Nurse & Midwife with the State / Indian Nursing Council.
- Must have two years of work experience in a minimum 50-bedded hospital after qualification.

- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 40 years (as on the last date of application)
Age Relaxation (as per UP Govt. rules):
- SC/ST/OBC (U.P.): 5 years
- Government Employees (3 years continuous service): 5 years
- PwBD Candidates: 5 years for UR, 10 years for OBC/SC/ST
- Dependents of Freedom Fighters & Ex-servicemen: as per applicable rules.
Reservation & Domicile Requirements
- Reservation benefits apply only to Uttar Pradesh domicile candidates.
- SC/ST/OBC/EWS certificates must be issued by the competent UP authority within six months before the CBT.
