OMR Sheet Update: To ensure all questions are addressed, RPSC has introduced a 5th option on the OMR sheet. Candidates will receive an additional 10 minutes per paper to account for this change. The standard negative marking policy of 1/3 deduction per incorrect answer remains in effect.

Dress Code Guidelines

To ensure the integrity of the recruitment process, RPSC has established specific dress code requirements and entry regulations. Please ensure you comply with these standards to facilitate a smooth entry into your examination center.

  • For male candidates: Wear a half-sleeve shirt or T-shirt. Do not wear full-sleeve clothes, large buttons, badges, or heavily embroidered clothing. Wear simple trousers or pants.
  • For female candidates: Wear a simple half-sleeve suit or saree. Tie your hair with a plain rubber band. Fancy hair clips and plastic hair claws are not allowed.
  • Footwear: Only slippers or low-heeled sandals are allowed. Shoes and heavy boots are not permitted. If you wear closed shoes, you may be asked to remove them before entering.
  • Items not allowed: Do not carry jewellery (such as earrings, rings, nose pins, or bangles), watches, calculators, wallets, bags, mobile phones, or any other electronic devices.
  • Reporting time: The exam centre gates close 1 hour before the exam starts. Reach the centre at least 90 minutes early to complete biometric verification and security checks without any rush.
