SSB Constable Tradesman Selection Process 2026
The recruitment process for SSB Constable Tradesman and Driver roles is a multi-stage evaluation. Candidates are required to successfully clear every phase, including physical and trade tests, to qualify for final appointment.

SSB Constable Salary 2026
Successfully appointed candidates for roles such as Tradesman, Driver, Veterinary, Carpenter, and Nursing Orderly will receive remuneration under Pay Level-3 (₹21,700 – ₹69,100), in accordance with the 7th Central Pay Commission.
Beyond the base salary, employees are entitled to additional government-mandated benefits, including Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and Ration Money Allowance.
Furthermore, all newly recruited personnel will be enrolled in the Defined Contributory Pension Scheme (NPS) or the applicable Unified Pension Scheme as per current government policy.
