UP B.Ed. Counselling Process 2026 Starts

Following the successful declaration of the UP B.Ed. JEE 2026 results on June 16, 2026, Bundelkhand University, Jhansi, has officially commenced the counselling process for the 2026–2028 academic cycle. Eligibility is strictly limited to candidates appearing on the official UP B.Ed. JEE 2026 merit list. Applicants who qualified in 2026 must upload their digitized mark sheets during the registration phase to participate.

UP B.Ed. Counselling Process 2026: Overview

Bundelkhand University, Jhansi, manages the online counselling for the UP B.Ed. JEE 2026–2028 session exclusively for candidates with an allotted state rank. The admission cycle is divided into four distinct rounds: Main Counselling, Pool Counselling, Direct Admission, and the specialized process for minority seats. UP B.Ed. Counselling Registration Schedule 2026

The official UP B.Ed. JEE 2026 counselling schedule is now live. Round 1 (Main Counselling) commences in July 2026 across two phases: Phase 1 covers ranks 1 to 150,000, while Phase 2 includes candidates from 150,001 to the final rank. Round 2 (Pool Counselling) begins in August 2026, followed by Direct Admission (Round 3) in the final week of August for remaining seat vacancies.

All candidates are required to log in with their official credentials and complete fee payments through authorized online gateways only.

UP B.Ed. Official Counselling Guidelines

Bundelkhand University has published comprehensive counselling guidelines for the 2026–2028 session, detailing registration, fee payment, choice filling, and final reporting procedures. Candidates should review these instructions thoroughly to prevent application errors. Please note that all legal matters regarding these admissions fall under the jurisdiction of the Jhansi court.

Essential admission guidelines are summarized below.

  • Only candidates with a valid state rank in the UP B.Ed. JEE 2026 merit list can participate in counselling.
  • Candidates who appeared in the qualifying examination in 2026 must upload their scanned mark sheet at the time of counselling registration.
  • The bank account provided during registration must belong to the candidate, their father, or their mother only.
  • Jandhan account details must not be submitted, as refunds to such accounts may not be possible.
  • Candidates must use their own or their parents’ mobile number, email ID, and bank account details during registration.
  • Candidates are advised to fill out in as many college choices as possible to avoid rejection in seat allotment.
  • No advance fee will be refunded once a seat has been allotted to the candidate.
  • The counseling fee of Rs. 850/- is non-refundable and must be paid separately for each round.
  • Total fee payable at the time of Round 1 registration is Rs. 5,850/-, Rs. 850/- as counselling fee and Rs. 5,000/- as an advance institute fee.
  • Candidates allotted a seat must click the ACCEPT button on the portal before downloading the Provisional Allotment cum Confirmation letter.
  • If a candidate does not report to the allotted institute within the given date, the institute fee will not be refunded.
  • Choices once locked cannot be changed. If choices are submitted but not locked before the last date, they will be automatically locked before seat allotment.
  • The seat allotment result is available on the candidate’s login only and is not published anywhere else.
  • State reservation policy for SC, ST, OBC, and EWS categories is followed in aided and government institutes.
  • EWS reservation is also followed in self-financed institutes.
  • For Pool Counselling (Round 2), candidates who were allotted a seat in Round 1 but did not pay the seat confirmation fee must pay the full fee of Rs. 52,100/- (Rs. 51,250/- as an institute fee and Rs. 850/- as a counselling fee). The advance institute fee of Rs. 5,000/- paid in Round 1 will not be adjusted.

All mandatory fees must be processed exclusively via secure online payment methods, including UPI, Credit Card, Debit Card, or Net Banking.

  • Step 1: Visit the official UP B.Ed. JEE 2026 counseling portal.
  • Step 2: Log in using your registered credentials.
  • Step 3: Fill in your bank account details for fee refund purposes.
  • Step 4: Pay the counseling fee and advance institute fee online.
  • Step 5: Upload the scanned copy of your qualifying exam mark sheet (if you appeared in 2026).
  • Step 6: Proceed to Choice Filling and verify your details before filling in college preferences.
  • Step 7: Fill in as many college choices as possible in order of preference and save before logging out.
  • Step 8: Lock the choices before the last date; unlocked choices will be auto-locked before seat allotment.
  • Step 9: Check allotment result on your login—the result is not available anywhere else.
  • Step 10: Click ACCEPT, pay the remaining balance if applicable, and download the Provisional Allotment cum Confirmation Letter.
  • Step 11: Report to the allotted college on the notified date with all original documents.
