The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) will announce the subject-specific and category-wise interview schedules on 03 June 2026. A total of 2,253 candidates have qualified for the interview stage. Candidates will be notified of their specific interview dates via registered email and mobile number. Furthermore, interview call letters will be available on the official website 10 days prior to the interview date; all candidates must download and present these at the venue.

UP PGT Final Result 2026
The official UP PGT Result 2026 was declared by the Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) on 7th July 2026 via their official website, upessc.up.gov.in.
From a pool of 1,92,934 candidates who appeared for the examination, 2,253 have been provisionally shortlisted for the interview round, including 2,007 male and 246 female candidates.
The subject of Hindi recorded the highest number of successful candidates, with 341 applicants (328 male and 13 female) moving forward to the interview stage.
The UP PGT Recruitment 2026 was organized to fill 624 Post Graduate Teacher positions across 18 subjects, falling under the guidelines of Advertisement No. 02/2022.
