  1. Preliminary Examination (Prelims): This initial screening stage features objective-type questions designed to test your knowledge in general studies, logical reasoning, and numerical ability.

  2. Physical Measurement Test (PMT): In this stage, your physical standards, including height, weight, and chest measurements, are verified against the official department criteria.

  3. Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Successful candidates from the PMT participate in the PET, where physical fitness is assessed through running and other endurance-based tasks.

  4. Final Combined Competitive Examination: This written test evaluates candidates’ knowledge across multiple subjects pertinent to the position. It is more comprehensive and in-depth compared to the preliminary exam.
  5. Personality Test: In this stage, candidates are assessed on their personality, communication abilities, confidence, and overall suitability for the role of Sub-Inspector.

Only those who successfully clear all required stages will be considered for the final merit list and eventual appointment as a WBP Sub-Inspector.
