Eligibility Criteria – Who Can Apply?
This recruitment is primarily for dependent family members of Assam Rifles personnel who were killed in action, died in service, medically discharged, or declared missing. However, the short notice also allows non-dependents to apply for the available seats.
Educational Qualification
- Rifleman/Riflewoman GD & Havildar Clerk: Class 10th pass
- Technical Trades (EFS, Mechanic, Armourer etc.): ITI / Diploma / Trade Certificate in relevant field from recognised institute
- Warrant Officer Cipher: Relevant cipher trade qualification
Age Limit (as on 01 Jan 2026)
Minimum 18 years – Maximum 28 years (relaxation as per government rules for dependents).
