Eligibility Criteria for SECL Recruitment 2026
1. Educational Qualification
Matriculation + Diploma/Degree in Mining Engineering (or equivalent approved by Central Govt)
Matriculation + Degree/Diploma in Mining / Mine Surveying Engineering
Matriculation + Diploma in Electrical Engineering (3-year course)
2. Technical / Professional Qualifications
- Mining Sirdar: Valid Mining Sirdarship Certificate (Un-Restricted) from DGMS, Gas Testing & First Aid Certificates
- Dy. Surveyor: Valid Surveyor’s Certificate of Competency (Un-Restricted) under CMR 2017
- Assistant Foreman (Electrical): Diploma in Electrical Engineering (minimum 3 years)
3. Age Limit (as on 08 April 2026)
18 – 30 years. Relaxations apply as per government norms (SC/ST: +5 yrs, OBC-NCL: +3 yrs, PwBD & Ex-Servicemen as per rules, Departmental candidates: No upper age limit).
