Eligibility Criteria for UKSSSC Driver 2026
Age Limit (as on 01 July 2026)
- Vehicle Driver (most posts): 21 – 42 years
- Vehicle Driver (Legal Services & Enforcement Driver): 18 – 42 years
- Age relaxation applicable for SC/ST/OBC (UK) +5 yrs, PwD +10 yrs, Ex-Servicemen as per rules
Educational & Driving Qualification
- Class 8th Pass from a recognized school
- Valid Heavy/Light Motor Vehicle Driving Licence (at least 3 years old)
- Minimum 3 years experience of driving commercial vehicles
- For Enforcement Driver: Valid licence for both light & heavy vehicles
Selection Process & Exam Pattern
Stage 1: Written Examination
25 Marks | 30 Minutes | Objective Type
- Driving Rules & Regulations (15 marks)
- Current Affairs (5 marks)
- Uttarakhand General Knowledge (5 marks)
- Qualifying Marks: 45% (Gen/OBC), 35% (SC/ST)
Stage 2: Practical Driving Test
75 Marks
- Minimum Qualifying: 50% for UR/EWS/OBC
- Up to 6 times vacancies called for driving test
- Final merit based on Written + Driving Test marks
