This state-level entrance exam opens doors to 2-year Auxiliary Nursing & Midwifery and 3-year General Nursing & Midwifery diploma courses in government and private institutes across West Bengal.

ANM (Revised)
- Females only
- 10+2 with minimum 40% aggregate (5% relaxation for SC/ST/OBC)
- Must have passed English
- Minimum 17 years as on 31 Dec 2026
- WB domicile for last 10 years + Bengali/Nepali proficiency
GNM
- Both males & females
- Same 10+2 qualification as ANM
- Same age, domicile & language requirements
All candidates must be medically fit and produce a fitness certificate at admission.
