Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) or its equivalent.
Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent with at least 45% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, obtained in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2002.
Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent with at least 50% marks and a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).
Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
Graduation and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.).
Candidates must have qualified the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET/CG TET) as prescribed by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and the State Government.

Fill in the application form with your educational qualifications, TET details, category, domicile, disability (if applicable), and other required information.

A total of 2,292 Assistant Teacher (PRT) vacancies have been announced by the Chhattisgarh Staff Selection Board (CGSSB), including 795 E-Cadre posts and 1,497 T-Cadre posts.
The online application process started on 24 July 2026 and will remain open until 21 August 2026 (5:00 PM). Candidates can make corrections to their application forms from 22 August to 24 August 2026.
