ESM (Ex-Servicemen) Rule Update

  • The reservation policy for Ex-Servicemen (ESM) has been revised in accordance with the Haryana Government instructions issued on 25.05.2026.
  • Ex-servicemen who have already secured civil employment (including PSUs, autonomous bodies, nationalized banks, etc.) under the ESM reservation quota will not be eligible to claim the reservation again.
  • All eligible ESM candidates must upload the Annexure-A Undertaking while submitting the online application form.

Eligible per new instructions (25.05.2026): No reapplication is necessary, but these candidates will be governed by the updated rules and must provide an undertaking when instructed.

Not eligible per new instructions: Applications will be rejected, and fees will be refunded upon submitting a formal request with application details and bank info.

Haryana Court Clerk Exam Pattern 2026

The Haryana Court Clerk exam will be conducted via a Computer-Based Test (CBT). Candidates are required to secure a minimum of 33% marks in each individual subject to qualify.

Computer Proficiency Test

The Computer Proficiency Test is divided into two sections: Part I (Spreadsheet Assessment) and Part II (English Typing Speed).

Are PwD candidates eligible for CPT exemption?

A: Yes. PwD candidates with locomotor disabilities (impacting both arms) or those holding a valid medical certificate from a Civil Surgeon may apply for exemption within 15 days of the CBT results being declared.

Final Merit List

The final merit list will be determined solely by performance in the Computer-Based Test (CBT). Merit scores will be calculated based on the established evaluation criteria.

Tie-Breaking Policy

In the event that multiple candidates achieve identical scores, the tie-breaking rules will be applied to finalize the ranking.

Final Selection Criteria: How Will the SSSC Merit List Be Made?

Final selection for the position is based exclusively on the results of the CBT.

  • Final Merit List: The final selection list will be prepared solely on the basis of candidates’ performance in the Computer-Based Test (CBT).
  • Computer Proficiency Test (CPT): The computer and typing tests will be qualifying in nature only. Marks obtained in these tests will not be considered while preparing the merit list.
  • Tie-Breaking Rule: In case two or more candidates secure the same marks, the older candidate will be placed higher in the final merit ranking.
