Haryana Medical Officer Eligibility Criteria 2025-26

Age Limit

Applicants must be between 22 and 35 years of age as of 07 January 2026. Age relaxations are available for reserved category candidates as per official government guidelines.

Nationality

To qualify for this recruitment, candidates must meet the specific citizenship and residency requirements defined in the official notification.

1. citizen of India; or
2. citizen of Nepal; or
3. subject of Bhutan; or
4. Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India;or
5. person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, SriLanka, EastAfrican countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia with the in tention of permanently settling in India.

Note that candidates categorized under (b) through (e) must possess a valid certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India to be considered for these positions.

Educational Qualfication

• Graduate in Medicine and Surgery from a recognized University or any other University or Institution recognized by the National Medical Commission (erstwhile Medical Council of India); and.
• Permanent Registered as Medical Practitioner with National Medical Commission (erstwhile Medical Council of India) or any other State Medical Council in Indian Union; and .
• Knowledge of Hindi/Sanskrit upto Matric Standared or higher education. Preference shall be given to candidates having MD/MS degree/PG diploma approved by NMC (erstwhile Medical Council of India).

Haryana Medical Officer Selection Process 2025-26

1. Written Test

• The Written Exam will carry a total of 100 Marks.
