ISRO Recruitment 2026 Vacancy

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has released a notification for 244 vacancies across Assistant, Upper Division Clerk (UDC), Junior Personal Assistant (JPA), and Stenographer positions. ISRO Eligibility Criteria 2026

To be eligible for these positions, applicants must fulfill the educational and age-related criteria specified in the official employment notification.

Assistant / Upper Division Clerk (Post No. 1 & 5)

• Graduation with minimum 60% marks or CGPA 6.32/10 from a recognised university.
• Proficiency in computer usage.
• One year of work experience.

Junior Personal Assistant / Stenographer (Post No. 2, 4 & 6)

• Graduation with minimum 60% marks or CGPA 6.32/10, or
• Diploma in Commercial/Secretarial Practice with minimum 60% marks or CGPA 6.32/10.
• English stenography speed of 60 words per minute.
• Proficiency in computer usage.
• One year of relevant work experience.

Age Limit: All applicants must fall within the stipulated age brackets defined by ISRO.

ISRO Recruitment 2026 Selection Process

The ISRO selection process for 2026 features a multi-stage approach, including a Written Test/Computer-Based Test (CBT) followed by a mandatory Skill Test. Candidates will be invited for the skill evaluation based on their performance in the initial examination.

1. Written Test: The written examination will be an objective-type paper of 150 minutes. The qualifying requirement is 50% for UR candidates and 40% for candidates belonging to reserved categories against notified reserved vacancies.Candidates will be shortlisted for the skill test in a maximum 1:5 ratio against the category-wise vacancies, subject to the minimum number specified in the notification.
2. Skill Test: For Assistant/UDC posts, the skill test includes a Computer Literacy Test. The qualifying marks are 60% for UR candidates and 50% for reserved-category candidates against notified reserved vacancies.

Application Fee

ISRO Salary Structure
