ISRO Eligibility Criteria 2026

To be considered for these positions, candidates must strictly adhere to the educational and age-related eligibility criteria outlined in the official notification.

Educational Qualification: Required qualifications are specific to each post designation.

Assistant / Upper Division Clerk (Post No. 1 & 5)

  • Graduation with minimum 60% marks or CGPA 6.32/10 from a recognised university.
  • Proficiency in computer usage.
  • One year of work experience.

Junior Personal Assistant / Stenographer (Post No. 2, 4 & 6)

  • Graduation with minimum 60% marks or CGPA 6.32/10, or
  • Diploma in Commercial/Secretarial Practice with minimum 60% marks or CGPA 6.32/10.
  • English stenography speed of 60 words per minute.
  • Proficiency in computer usage.
  • One year of relevant work experience.

Age Limit: Applicants must ensure their age falls within the prescribed limits established by the organization.

  • Minimum Age: 18 years
  • Maximum Age: 28 years

Age relaxation is provided for candidates belonging to reserved categories, in strict alignment with Government of India regulations.

ISRO Recruitment 2026 Selection Process

ISRO Salary Structure

Selected candidates will be placed at a starting basic salary of Rs 25,500 per month (Pay Matrix Level 4). In addition to the basic pay, employees receive standard Central Government perks, including Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and Transport Allowance (TA).
