How to Apply for MP SET 2026?

Interested applicants must complete their MP SET 2026 registration exclusively through the official website of the Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC).

  • First, they must register by providing basic details like name, email ID, and mobile number.
  • After registration, candidates can log in and fill out the application form by entering their personal, educational, and contact information.
  • They also need to upload scanned copies of their photo and signature in the required format.
  • Once the form is filled out, candidates must pay the application fee online.
  • After successful payment, they should submit the form and take a printout for future use.

MP SET Application Fee

According to the official notification, the application fee is set at Rs. 500 for General candidates, which includes a Rs. 40 portal processing fee. Reserved category applicants are required to pay Rs. 250. Payments must be processed online via Net Banking, Credit/Debit cards, or other supported digital gateways. Please note that incomplete applications without successful payment verification will be rejected.

MP SET Exam Pattern 2026

The Madhya Pradesh SET 2026 is a premier state-level examination administered by the MPPSC to qualify candidates for Assistant Professor positions across the state's higher education institutions. The exam consists of two objective-based papers conducted without internal breaks. Importantly, there is no negative marking policy, allowing candidates to attempt all questions confidently.

  • Paper 1 is a General Paper on Teaching and Research Aptitude, compulsory for all candidates. It consists of 50 questions to be answered in 60 minutes.
  • Paper 2 is based on the chosen subject of the candidate. It consists of 100 questions to be answered in 120 minutes.
