Nationality

Applicants must meet the following general requirements:

  1. a citizen of India, or
  2. a subject of Nepal, or
  3. a subject of Bhutan, or
  4. a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania(Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam to permanently settle in India.

Educational Qualification

Educational requirements are specific to the chosen post. Please ensure your qualifications align with the requirements for the vacancy you are applying for:

  1. For Data Entry Operator (DEO) / DEO Grade ‘A’ in the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, Ministry of Culture, and SSC: Candidates must have passed 12th Standard (Science stream) with Mathematics from a recognised board or an equivalent qualification.
  2. For LDC / JSA and DEO / DEO Grade ‘A’ (except the DEO posts mentioned above): Candidates must have passed 12th Standard or an equivalent exam from a recognized Board or University.
  3. Candidates who are currently appearing in their 12th Standard or equivalent exam can also apply. However, they must have the required qualification by the cut-off date.
