How to Apply for SSC CHSL 2026: Step-by-Step Guide

1. Go to ssc.gov.in or open the my SSC app.
2. Complete One-Time Registration (OTR).
3. Log in and select Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination 2026.
4. Fill in your personal, educational and other details. Choose three exam centres within the same region, because centres can’t be changed later.
5. Capture a live photo on the form (no cap, mask or glasses; you can’t upload an old photo). Upload your signature as a JPEG, 10–20 KB, about 6 × 2 cm. Candidates who authenticate with Aadhaar are not rejected for photo or signature issues.
6. Check the preview, then submit.
7. Pay the ₹100 fee by UPI, net banking or a Visa, Mastercard, Maestro or RuPay debit card. Women, SC, ST, PwBD and eligible ex-servicemen candidates pay nothing.
8. Save or print the application form.

SSC CHSL Application Correction Window 2026

• There is negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer.
• Tier-I is qualifying in nature and used to shortlist candidates for Tier-II.

SSC CHSL Tier 2 Exam Pattern

• Tier-II is also an online-mode Exam conducted across two sessions on the same day.
• Session-I (2 hours 15 minutes) covers Section-I, Section-II, and Section-III, all objective in nature.
• Session-II consists of Section-IV, the Skill Test/Typing Test, which is qualifying in nature.
