The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially declared the SSC CHSL Tier 2 Result 2026 on its official website, ssc.gov.in, for the 2025–26 examination cycle. Candidates who appeared for the examination can now check their qualifying status and review the allocation details.

The main Tier 2 examination was successfully conducted on 10th April 2026, followed by a necessary re-examination for Shift-II held on 22nd April 2026. Out of 3,522 total vacancies, a total of 3,515 candidates have been provisionally shortlisted for the First Round of Tentative Allocation (FRTA) and identification verification processes.

Merit List and Examination Structure Details

The Tier 2 Session I objective CBT carries a total of 405 marks, which exclusively forms the foundation of the final merit list. Meanwhile, the Skill/Typing Test in Session II is purely qualifying in nature and does not contribute to the final merit score. Furthermore, individual scorecards are scheduled for release in August 2026.

Sliding Process Guidelines

Candidates recommended for the Sliding Process are required to select their preferred venue, date, and time slot from 20 to 22 August 2026 on the SSC website. The actual Sliding Process will be conducted at concerned Regional Offices from 1 to 3 September 2026 in person. Please note that failure to attend the Sliding Process results in being treated as absent and excluded from the final result.
