Candidates should note that the age limit for general posts is 20-25 years, while for the newly added SI (Fire) in CISF, the age bracket is 18-30 years (both as of 1/8/2026). Significant changes have been introduced to the exam format: Paper 1 is now reduced to 100 marks, and Paper 2 now includes Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English, with negative marking increased to 0.50 per wrong answer.
