Interview Stage Guidelines

  • The interview will be held at selected centres; venue, date, and time shared through the interview call letter.
  • Candidates must download their call letter from the official IBPS website: www.ibps.in.
  • Requests for changing the interview date or centre will not be accepted, though IBPS may change details in special situations.
  • Total Marks: 100
  • Minimum Qualifying Marks: 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD)
  • Final result based on 80% online exam weightage and 20% interview weightage.
  • If a candidate fails to score minimum marks in the interview, their interview score won’t be shared.

The interview for Officer Scale I, II, and III is arranged by the Nodal RRB with help from NABARD and IBPS.

Language Proficiency Test (LPT)

The Language Proficiency Test (LPT) assesses reading, writing, speaking, and understanding of the local language of the State/UT. However, candidates who have studied the local language of the State/UT at the 10th standard level or above are exempted from LPT subject to official notification conditions.
