LIC AAO Selection Stage 3: Interview
Performance in the Main Examination is the sole criterion for qualifying for the interview stage. The final merit list is then derived by combining marks secured in the Main Examination and the subsequent Interview.
Interview (Phase III):
The interview stage carries a maximum of 60 marks. Qualifying thresholds are set at 30 marks for EWS, UR, and OBC candidates, and 27 marks for SC, ST, and PwBD candidates. Candidates who fail to reach these minimum requirements are disqualified. Typically, candidates numbering three times the total vacancies are shortlisted for the interview based on their Mains performance.
The final merit list is compiled based on the aggregate score of the Main Examination and the Interview. In the event of tied scores, preference is given to candidates with higher post-graduate qualifications; if a tie persists, the older candidate is ranked higher.
Pre-Recruitment Medical Examination:
- After clearing all stages, candidates must undergo a medical test to ensure they are medically fit before the appointment.
