Educational Qualification

1. For Data Entry Operator (DEO) / DEO Grade ‘A’ in the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, Ministry of Culture, and SSC: Candidates must have passed 12th Standard (Science stream) with Mathematics from a recognized board or an equivalent qualification.
2. For LDC / JSA and DEO / DEO Grade ‘A’ (except the DEO posts mentioned above): Candidates must have passed 12th Standard or an equivalent exam from a recognized Board or University.
3. Candidates who are currently appearing in their 12th Standard or equivalent exam can also apply. However, they must have the required qualification by the cut-off date.

1. The age of candidates must be between 18 to 27 years.

Number of Attempts

There is no limit on the number of attempts for the SSC CHSL exam. However, strict age limits apply, and candidates must fall within the stipulated age bracket at the time of application.

SSC CHSL 2026 Online Form

The SSC CHSL online application portal will open in July 2026 at www.ssc.gov.in. Applicants must complete their One-Time Registration, fill in personal details, upload a recent photograph and signature, and pay the examination fee to finalize the process.
